Dashboard Design for University Student
Fondazione Fatebenefatelli is a medical school in Italy that focuses on Aesthetic Medicine. The Fatebenefratelli Foundation, in collaboration with SIME (Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine) and with the scientific contribution of professionals belonging to medical and university institutions, promoted and created the post-graduate school of Aesthetic Medicine in 1990.
The brief
The project involves designing and developing a comprehensive dashboard for students to access all school-related information in one centralized platform. The dashboard will serve as a hub, providing easy navigation to essential resources such as class schedules, assignments, grades, announcements, and extracurricular activities.
The primary goal is to enhance the student experience by creating a user-friendly interface that is intuitive and accessible across various devices. Additional features may include personalized notifications, a calendar for tracking important dates, and integration with communication tools to facilitate interactions between students and educators. This dashboard aims to streamline access to vital information, promoting efficiency and better organization for students throughout their academic journey.
The results
To create a user-friendly experience, the sidebar is designed to be minimalistic while ensuring students have access to all essential features, including their profile, dashboard, school-related information, finance, and exams. This streamlined approach minimizes distractions and enhances usability, making navigation simple and intuitive.
For the user interface, a modern and sleek design inspired by top SaaS platforms was implemented. This ensures familiarity for students by resembling the applications they commonly use, enhancing their comfort and ease of adoption. The color scheme aligns with the school’s branding to maintain consistency, with improvements to font choices and other design elements to achieve a fresher, more contemporary look.
