E-commerce Website Redesign
Luretta is a winery brand from Italy. The story of Luretta begins with a wild cattle breeder who loved wines and who in 1988 stopped in the Val Luretta, a small valley in the Apennine hills in the northwest of Italy. Luretta recently did a redesign to their branding, so their current website also needs adjustments to match their new look.
The challenges
Luretta had almost no online presence when we started working with them. They were operating with a classic B2C business model in which most of their sales were made in person. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, their traditional business model came to a halt. Along with the team at Mowgli, we created an e-commerce website to establish their online presence and reach consumers directly.
The results
- Aligning Visual Design with Luretta’s New Branding Direction:
The redesign focuses on enhancing the visual appeal of the website by fully integrating Luretta’s updated branding direction into the user interface. This involves refining design elements such as color schemes, typography, and overall aesthetics to create a cohesive and modern look that resonates with the brand’s identity. By ensuring every visual aspect aligns with Luretta’s new brand strategy, the website will leave a strong, memorable impression on visitors, building trust and reinforcing the brand’s image. - Improving Product Display Across All Pages:
The redesign includes optimizing the way products are showcased across the main shopping page, category pages, and individual product pages. This involves creating visually appealing layouts that highlight product details, features, and imagery more effectively. Enhanced product filtering and sorting options will make it easier for customers to find what they are looking for. On individual product pages, improved image galleries, detailed descriptions, and customer reviews will provide a richer shopping experience, encouraging conversions. - Enhancing User Shopping Experience with New Features:
Key improvements aim to make the shopping experience more intuitive and seamless. A pop-up sidebar will provide quick access to cart details without disrupting browsing, while a better navigation system will guide users effortlessly through the site. The checkout process will be redesigned to be simple yet comprehensive, minimizing friction and reducing cart abandonment. Clear calls-to-action and progress indicators will ensure users feel confident and informed throughout their purchase journey. These enhancements collectively aim to boost user satisfaction and drive sales.
